They look small in this picture, but these geese r huge, maybe over 4 feet tall. And they have a mean look in their eye, especially when guarding their young. So i give them puhlenty of space. I was chased by a coupla geese once while visiting George Davis on his farm in Indiana and i guess i'm scarred 4 life. Well these Sausalito geese better not chase me OR ELSE.

ReplyDeletethere are hundreds of them on the lake in the park a half block away. people feed them all the time and they will get very close, but if they are protecting a nest STAY CLEAR!!!
