pismo beach is a party town

People ride bikes barefoot while eating ice cream cones, head for the beach on their bikes with beach chairs strapped to their backs, it's all so very super-casual. Lots of places to get caramel apples and salt water taffy, more than several tattoo/piercing salons. Adult-sized swings at the beach!
