Definitely no time for touring right now. Boogie boarding and surfing in Bolinas. Met one of the owners of Two Mile surf shop...a really great guy. Had snacks in Stinson Beach at the Surfer's Grill.

These are Naked Ladies, according to Pete the Flower-Man at Other Avenues Co-op. They grow wild, have no leaves, and smell like banana taffy. MMMMMmmmm!

Ran into fishmonger Sasha Rossman. He never smells like fish, tho. No tour stuff happening.

ACC guitarist Rich Stim also not on tour...2busy bike-riding in the foggy Presidio, through the eucalyptus trees.

snacks

Bought flowers and snacks for soon-2-b-arriving guests, the band Shellac. Got Bob his Starbucks Frappucinos like he likes, and olives for Steve, and small snak-pak bags of chips, Cracker Jacks, and Pepperidge Farm Goldfish, (with xtra cheese). No tour for me.

nomads

Met two Iranian nomads in the Mission on 16th Street. They were shopping at Clothes Encounters, where customers pay by-the-pound. They were on tour, kind of. Not me tho.

Still not on tour, but Mister Nancy (formerly of Angel Corpus Christi) might be if her band, the Charm School Dropouts wins a Battle-of-the Bands contest. They will play a show in Cabo San Lucas! Woo-hoo!

No shows today either. Watched the Metallica documentary...Yikes. Fascinating. Gotta rent disc2, with xtras. What's red and black all over?

No shows again today. Still spending alot of time taking pictures of fresh produce...no pluots tho. Those scare me. Plus the name is weird.

in oakland

No shows today. Went to Cyzuki Industries in Oakland to deliver HOOKY WOOKY merchandise...a hand-crochet mini-skirt, and hats, bags and scarves. Working on pumpkin-hat for the fall holidays.

no reason

Absolutely no reason not to do a show tonite...stood around at home and took pictures of a bowl of romano beans. Got a new toothbrush. That's about it.

watermelon juice

MMMMMMMMmmmmmm good. Watermelon juice at Tabla on Magnolia Street in Larkspur. Before the freeway, Magnolia Street was the main way to get from Mill Valley to Larkspur. I could play some songs from the back of a pick-up truck, driving all the backroads of Marin County towns, like in the Georgia Satellites video...(something about a shotgun wedding.) Until then, no shows.

Might go2Sausalito, eat fish tacos at Salsalito on Bridgeway. No show or anything, although it would be fun to play accordion there, near the fountain and the two elephants. Watch the ferryboats. Nice.
