show me yours

It feels kind of sneaky to "go" inside other ppl's dwellings.  This place is on a neighboring dock; the editors at NON TOUR DIARY have a full view of the south and west sides of it, which glow golden yellow at sunset. The above pic shows the dock which is totally different than all the other docks.  First of all, the part u walk on is not wood, but a fire-safe material, which makes sense, right?  And the plants and olive trees have been placed on the outside of the railings rather than on the dock itself.  It's a streamlined look, not shmegeggy like the other docks.  The lighting is better too, recessed underneath the top railing and goes the whole length of the dock so u dont have these pools of light surrounded by darkness, which isnt that helpful at night.
Still no tour or shows or anything...2busy giving up looking for cool giphs.  One of those times when it feels like ive used up the internet.

Hello everyone. Yup, still got the Stones on repeat all night long and now they r even creeping into my daylight hours. Not sure where all this Stonesmania is leading, if anywhere. Kinda hard2beat Bossa 'n Stones for covers with vocals so perhaps another Accordion Pop?
On a completely unrelated note, shouldnt this read "fewer" rather than "less"?

their eyes are blue

Saw the seriously good Dean Wareham show at the Chapel on Friday night. It appeared to be sold out and not one audience member left b4 the show was over.
There's a new drummer in the band, i liked his playing alot. It's difficult to lose drummers and audition new ones, it can put your band behind the 8ball for awhile but i had no complaints against this guy whatsoever and he was interesting to watch too, using mallets and brushes as well as sticks.
The words that come to mind as i'm trying to describe the band's performance:  'deep' and 'personal'. Beautiful gorgeous singing by Dean and Britta, with more singing by Jason Quever, who doubled up on Dean's lead vocals. So good.
I felt like i was witnessing something, something  important about how the years of dedication and perseverance have led to the deepness i was feeling, but u should read this instead of listening to my mumbly incoherence.
Tomorrow:  More on blueberries!

down the road a'piece

Took these slapdash pix onthefly while dockwalking yesterday, just walking along and snapping willynilly.
Still enjoying the ever-amusing Mick Jagger  audiobook. Too bad Andrew Loog Oldham's book isnt available as an audiobook. Well, there's this i guess.

it's just my (still) life

Still listening to the Stones under my pillow every night and finally heard Beast of Burden after weeks of listening.  Have also begun the Mick Jagger book; the author is very funny.  Hey I just thought of a new word:  Britchy.  The author is funny in that bitchy British way the Englishters have about them. And, nothing to do with the Stones, but dont4get about the Fri the 13th full moon tonite.

hi ange, whatr u doin'? oh, just hanging out with keith backstage after the show

Had a dream that at a Stones' show an all-access pass got me into Keith's private area, er, that is, dressing room, Keith had taken off his shirt and was standing there smiling at me. I was blathering and babbling and blabbleing jeez i couldnt shut up about how much fun i had at the show. The dream didnt include any concert scenes but i knew that i had just seen the best Stones show ever. And Keith just kept looking down at me, smiling,  then ACC woke up.

Remember silly fake book titles like that? There were a bunch of them, like in grade school or something but the only other one i recall is 'How i won the war, by General Confusion.'
And speaking of silly book titles, this is the audiobook i'm listening to. Funny, well-written and narrated by the author.
And here r a buncha photos from A&R's recent shorty vacay in Mendocino. Gosh it is extraordinarily beautiful there. Positive and uplifting.  Those watertowers.

as terry tolkin would say, THE SONG IN MY HEAD WHEN I WOKE UP THIS MORNING WAS:

Prime Mover. Arent i a littttle too old to still find this shite amusing? Evidently not as i've just sat here and watched the viddie not once but twice. The guitar sounds and drums still sound exciting. I saw Zodiac Mindwarp at the sweaty and smelly Stone in San Francisco where i was the only female in the audience.   Too bad the book isnt available as an audiobook as i cant be arsed to read paper books anymore.  Or even kindlebooks.
Anywayz, back from another short vacay in Mendocino, pix to follow.
