they're callin' it mellow yellow ...quite rightly

Been painting things pale yellow, y'all. Started with the 2 bookcases, then the breakfast nook, then the cupboards, and it's early yet...who knows what will turn yellow2day. Now i know how don ciccone's mother felt when she painted everything silver. I think she originally planned 2 paint just one thing silver, but by the time don got home from school, the washer and dryer, some furniture and his bicycle were silver. Shout out Adelle! She's always coming out with these terrific quotables. My favorite one is WHO'S BETTER THAN YOU. I also like I CANT MAKE IT OUT. That's what u say when something looks unclear..."I cant make it out."

Got an advance copy of the new Dean and Britta cd...i guess that makes me a very special little girl. (That's why i have no tour or shows...2busy listening to their cd.)

Later ppl. x0x0 Posted by Picasa

stoned soul picnic

Rode bikes in the presidio, had a lil picka-nicka in the sun. I LOVE my socks. The whole outfit is very mark bingham. Alot of times, my outfits look like something he would wear. It's kinda funny2look in the mirror and see m.b. standing there. "Hey, I look like mark bingham again." ha ha.

Dinner at greens...grilled peaches with honey and watercress. Two please. wow holy shit it was good. And to go: lemon pudding cake with huckleberries and raspberries.
Will eat that later while watching a movie about convicts performing shakespeare.

This is my yoga teacher, y'all. She's beautiful. About 6 years ago i had this idea, well, i guess it was an idea for an idea, but i thought of this concept, well i guess it really was just a name for a concept... anyway, i called it YOGA, YOUR DOG AND YOU. I got the idea when the neighbor's dog would sit by the fence between my house and his, and watch me do yoga in my driveway. I'd be rockin'poses and he would be looking at me, and i'd ask him "how'm i doin'? how'm I doin'?" And he'd say "doin' good, doin' good." It's not like the idea was to do yoga with your dog like ppl do these days, it was more like u have your dog with you when u do your yoga.

No tour or shows or anything...2busy watching movies. Highly recommended: THE TALENT GIVEN US. Bye allayall. x0x0 Posted by Picasa

under the bridge

Biking and hiking. Eating and reading. Stitchin' and bitchin'. Workin' and jerkin'. Doubting and pouting. Walkin' and talkin'. Blogging and flogging. Swimming and gymming. Smoking and joking. Nodding and podding. Mmmmm, that sounds like pudding. I want some. Butterscotch would be good. Or cornstarch pudding. Ever heard of that? I think it's in that same family as canned green beans with canned onion rings and canned mushroom soup. Or how about tiny multi-colored marshmallows with sour cream and canned pineapple? i used to LOVE that.

No tour or shows or anything. 2 busy with all of the above. Posted by Picasa

well it's a nice day 2...start again

Man i sure hope that cigarette has been shopped in. Or maybe her bump has been shopped? One or the other, please.

I always thought living in a trailer would be kinda cool. I'd have 2have one of those awnings and a whole out-door set-up with mine..stove outside, etc. And of course mines would have the horizontal louvered windows. And red plaid upholstery on the seating around the dining table. Hearts or Crazy 8's anyone? Lemonade? Yes sir, Mr.

Why Yes sir Mr.? In NYC, at Dave's Luncheonette on the corner of West Broadway and Canal (is that right ppl?) there used2b a waiter who would say "Yes sir Mr." if a white customer ordered, and "Yes sir Dummy" if a non-white customer ordered.

No tour or shows or anything, Dummy, er, i mean Mr. ...2busy varnishing furniture. Posted by Picasa

b&w bffrich

I'm changing BFF Rich's name to PODCASTY RICH. He is really going2town. Remember Gerry Todd from SCTV? That's what PODCASTY RICH is like. 3 or 4 screens on, phone recording device on, Whisper Room happening, who eee he is GOIN' to town.

Right now we r on the phone with Rat Girl from HUMAN4ANIMAL. She is in NY and said "who eee it is hot here" right after i typed "who ee", above.

So no tour or shows or anything. 2bizizzy drinking ginger tea and eating cinammon toastPosted by Picasa

cousin it

Got a(nother) new haircut. Hmmmm.

Gee i was reading other ppl's blogs...some ppl write huge amounts. I get in front of the screen and cant think of what2say. I was reading a link at Monde Moderne, i think it's called Attack of the 5Foot Woman or something like that. Wow, she can really go. The dog, the husband, the tv shows, on and on. I wish my blog would be more like that, but i just dont talk that much. I'd rather spy on other ppl. Then report what THEY'RE doing.

That's why i LOVE window-peeping. Or is it window-peeking? One of the best peeks i ever saw was in Calistoga, Cali. This man and woman were sitting at a small, square wooden table in a tiny bare-bones kitchen. On their table was a bottle of Jack Daniels, 2drinking glasses, a pack of Marlboros and an ashtray. AND, get this, they were playing Hank Williams vinyl. Just sitting there drinking, smoking and listening.

A really weird one i saw when i was a kid (wow, look, my blog is having words!)...the mother of the house was putting sugar on her kids' cottage cheese. I dont know, it seemed weird at the time. Now it sounds kinda good! Well, of course, IF the cottage cheese was rennet-free and organic. And then the sugar would have2b some over-priced organic sugar too. Right now we have brown sugar from Mauritius oh oh is that spelled wrong? Anyway, it's delip-shis. Very dark brown. Costs WAY2much. ORGANIC, dont ya know.

Lately i am questioning all this money i spend on organic produce. The other day i was shopping with Bruce Anderson, and he bought non-organic tomatoes for 49cents a pound. At my co-op, organic heirlom tomatoes were $6.19 a pound 2day. I dont mind paying more, but THAT MUCH MORE? wtf? It IS the middle of the summer, after all. And they were grown right around here too. Know what i'm sayin'?

Anyway, not 2exciting huh? Tomato prices, haircuts. No sex, no drugs(weed dont count). Still got the rock and roll tho. Jeez, thank god.

So, you know, no tour, no shows or anything. 2busy using the new Weed(no, not THAT kind of weed)Wacker. Posted by Picasa
