bruce anderson in the house

Except these arent Bruce's pedals, i just wanted to use this picture of all the Boss gear. Bruiser prefers him some Pete Cornish.
I like to think of Pete and his wife in their ivy-covered cottage in the UK, hand-crafting these pedals. People living in the woods making stuff is always pretty cool.
I usually get scared when i'm in the woods tho, especially at night. A and R were overnight guests at a cabin in the woods a few years ago and the hosts played the movie I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE, which has alot of footage of a woman running for her life in the woods, being chased my some maniac or another. Like alot of people living in the woods, our hosts didnt have curtains at the windows. Scary. And if i remember correctly, R was also getting kind of uncomfortable. So to lighten things up he kept referring to the movie as I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVY, which did help quite a bit! Thanks R! (Here's R with ACC and Herb Alpert).
So yeah, it was really great to have Bruce back on the boat. See u next session, Bruiser.

dont drink the yellow water

Some of the residents on our dock speculated that the odd color we saw last week was tsunami-related. Today's colors look like things r getting back2normal.

(dont push me cuzz i'm) close to the edge

Hello. If i had to live in the city again, i would try 4 a place near Sutro Park. U r right at the edge of everything there, u can see all the way to Honolulu, as Zsa Zsa Gabor once said.
Tomorrow is a Sunday Streets day on the Great Highway. 2 lanes each way r closed to traffic for about 5 miles or so and folks love to get out there and ride back and forth on the highway along the beach on skateboards, skates, bikes, strollers, and cool hybrids of all kinds.
No tour or shows or anything...2busy trying to read.

hey, what gal DOESNT want a new printer for her birthday?

That's right, R gave "me" a new printer for my birthday. It reminds me of a Chrishmish way back in the day when Dale Sophiea gave his mother a Harmon Kardon sound system with big speakers, it was a whole deal with all these various components and wires and plugs and cords. Of course she didnt want it and of course he packed it up and took it back to Bloomington with him. Nice one Dale. :-)
Thank u R, it's a very nice printer.

raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens, bright copper kettles and vultures on dead racoons

Ewwwwww. A and R went out for a bike ride but got sidetracked by this surrealistic scene.
When the vulture stuck its entire head inside the raccoon, A got more than a little squeamish.
No tour or shows or anything...2busy watching Mad Men.

do u know the way to, umm, san rafael?

More on these two vultures later.

a clean well lighted path

Went walking in my old neighborhood yesterday.
Extra specially, the windmill was spinning 'round. Since 1978 i think i've only seen it working maybe 5-10 times.
