Doing puhlenty of nothing, unless u count reading magazines and eating granola as doing something. The clock keeps changing tho;time should stop when we arent doing anything. And speaking of clocks, have i mentioned that it hasnt been 4:20 around here in over 3 months? Small potatoes, but my potatoes. Where is that quote from anyway? Ah, who can remember the sources for all the quotes that pop up.
Dave Mahoney was a great one for using quotes and once when we were all hanging out, somebody, i cant remember who, got annoyed and said "you people r just non-sequitur after non-sequitur" and they left the room.
And speaking of leaving the room and quotes, R and myself were hanging out at Hamburger Mary's south of Market when a bunch of guys at a table near us apparently annoyed one of their pals, who got up and left, kind of in a huff. And one of the guys at the table said to the others, "Well! SHE'S gone." R and I still use that quote. You'd be surprised how useful it is. And it's always funny too. Well, funny if u r into non-sequiturs i guess.
And how YOU doin'?

Watched the Serge Gainsbourg movie Heroic Life last night. Woo hoo. It's my favorite movie in quite some time. After watching it, i realized i didnt really know that much about Serge so i went to wiki where i saw that, quite annoyingly, everybody in the world who has covered one of his songs was listed EXCEPT MOI, so R got busy and edited Serge's page and now i'm included too (under "covers and tributes"). This shot isnt from the movie but i wanted to use it anyway.
Tonite's movie: Harvey Keitel in Blindside. Watched a bit last nite. Looks-wise it's similar to films by Abel Ferrara, lots of splashes of lurid color with contrasting shadows. Cinematic-wise, it could be one of the worst movies ever but that never stops me if i like the way a movie looks.
Pass the popcorn and can i also have your strawberry galette? :-)

Say what? ACC and R just took a look at their recent bmi statements. Why in the world would a 20 year-old MX80 song, especially one with the title AFTERBIRTH/AFTERMATH, be played at the horse races at Belmont? And how is ACC being paid for plays on a song that was never recorded? As far as i can remember (go ahead, laugh), YOU'RE GONNA DO was performed live once at the Bottom of the Hill in Sam Framcisco, and once at the Knitting Factory in NY, but never recorded. And what about RUBY being played in Austria? Was there an Austrian tv special about elephants and RUBY was used as the theme song or something?
What else is going on here at ACC headquarters? Oh, not much, just updating Advanced Medical Directives and stuff like that.
And how YOU doin'?
Thank u Pinky for the Death Bracelets linkydink.

Well, sitting actually. And ordering this from me to me on my birthday. Free shipping both ways even tho the site is in the UK. And, all bags and pkgs r 100% recyclable, unlike the bike messenger bag i received as a thank-you gift from the Sierra Club that came wrapped in not one but two totally unrecyclable plastic bags. Yes i sent them an email.
Gave R a haircut earlier 2day. He looks great. (As usual. -Ed.) Hey wow! That's the first nice comment Ed has ever made. Ever! Since, like, in the 80's. Huh. Wonder what brought THAT on?
No tour or shows or anything...2busy waiting for the mailman.
