Paddled past my neighbor's place the other day, what a sweet place it is.
And speaking of guys whose names begin with the letter "J", a big shout-out to Jani Lane for writing the gorgeous beautiful song 'Heaven.' Y'all remember it, right? I always wanted to sing that bit about the sparkle in her eyes being like a blue suburban sky. As Craig Leon would say, "Genius!" And btw, that's R's gtr solo and Lil' Mimi Hooper's background vocals u hear on the ACC version. Hmmmm, this is weird--according to wiki Jani's real name is John Kennedy Oswald. Why did his parents name him that?

4got 2 mention that i left the art museum at 3rd and mission at 3:45 and ran 9 blocks to the ferry building (shown above) in time to catch the 4pm ferry back to sausalito. Let's hear it 4 me!

Hello.
I took the ferry to San Francisco yesterday to meet Bruce Anderson at the Museum of Modern Art. We wondered around for 4 hours looking at the unbelievable Fisher Collection. Click here to see.
In other news, the other night i was reading about the Marquis de Sade (Dark Eros-The Imagination of Sadism- by Thomas Moore) and i was getting sleepy and whenever i came across "Sade" i kept thinking i was reading about Sade, the singer. And then i would say to myself "What? She did THAT?" It went on like that for quite awhile, back and forth between the right Sade and the wrong Sade, then i got to this sentence: "Sade gives voice to the shadows of love." Anyway.
No tour or shows or anything...2busy screaming for ice cream.
