Hello. Right now i am looking for a picture (search term:'phone looks like a drum') and google keeps offering me 'dude looks like a lady'. And speaking of ladies, too often when i'm looking for entertaining/never-b4-seen pix for the blog, i'm directed to Lady Gaga and i'm always surprised, like what does LG have to do with "chimp plays accordion"?
So anyway, this is Hal Blaine with Don Ciccone (speaking of chimps! haha Don, just kidding).
Don sent me this picture the other day with a lovely email recalling how much he enjoyed meeting Hal at the Plant in Sausalito when ACC was recording White Courtesy Telephone there. We were all pretty damn excited to meet Hal and hang out with him. I mean really! (Howard Thompson also pictured). And speaking of Howard Thompson, he took this picture when ACC was in NYC to do some shows.. Hi Howard! And thank u Don!

In preparation for a world tour supporting their new instrumental project (working title Bar Stool Walker), Bruce Anderson (left) and Rich Stim have decided to go 4 a whole new look. Nice, boys! ACC will be handling security on the tour. And speaking of bar stools...

she's getting married

A little bird just told me that Sunshine will be walking down the aisle in September.  It will be an outdoor wedding.  It can be hot in Cali at that time so i think ACC will make an appearance in a big hat, which the little lady herself requested.   OK Sunshine, u got it!

And speaking of Howard Thompson,  reader Steve Leeds answered that he'd like to have Howard in his hospy room. Is that cute or what? Where is ol' Steve Leeds these days? Could this be him?

And speaking of cover tunes, ACC is finally recording some X-TAL songs. First up is Your Fragile Mind. I love that song. And i love Neo, the songwriter.
He has another great song titled Ragamuffin Girl. "I wanna bury my face in your hair, telephone's ringing but i dont care." That line always gets me.
Ahh that voice of his. And that gtr playing. And the writing. Sheesh, talk about hot.

I got all excited when i first saw this, but it's not ezzackly the way i envisioned it, which would be Lou as the only vocalist. I always like Metallica until ol' whats-his-name starts screaming.
