Had a dream last night that i was in the recording studio with Keith. He was having trouble getting the right sound for one song and was trying alot of different slides--- glass bottles, pill bottles, metal slides. It was going on and on. Maybe i was making a face or something, i dunno, but in an annoyed tone of voice he says to me "Maybe YOU wanna try it?" Well, of course i couldnt, but in my head i was hearing the part being played with no slide. I was hearing a sound he used on an older Stones song (shit i cant remember which one dammit)and suggested he try it.
Bingo!  As soon as he tried it, it was working, and he flashed me a smile.  Then ACC woke up.

Just got in from a super-hella bike ride into the Headlands.
Since it's Sunday it was kind of traffic-y at times, but in general not too bad.
The Headlands r so huge, with such wide-open vistas, and the sky looks so big, u feel like a little tiny insect as u go zooming along.

Hello.  That's me above, wif me beautiful gorgeous stunning Uncle Lyle on the sand dunes of his neighborhood in western Michigan.
He was a model for coolness alright. He taught me how to do the Chicken, which was a little bit of a dirty dance (not that dumb one where u flap your arms and make squawking noises) so much so that demonstrating it at school one day almost got lil ACC kicked out.

Hi. It's Friday again, time for another v.entertaining PURE show, this week featuring the Cramps on every other song. A Crampathon!
When ACC was performing live, I loved doing Cramps songs. The songs never failed to get the crowd going crazy and R's hypnotizing, primitive guitar playing incited them even more. We warmed up for Lux and Ivy one Halloween in San Francisco and after the show we visited them at the Phoenix with HT. No drugs, no alcohol, no cigarettes, but plenty of vegan snacks and chips and stuff like that and a container of brown rice. And very quiet. Apparently we were the only ones to be invited. HT stole a used Q-tip out of their bathroom trash;it had been used to apply sparkly green eye-shadow.
No tours or shows or anything...2busy trying to stay upright.

And speaking of silly, R caught me the other night watching the Dancing Rabbis on a Chabad telethon. I was trying to catch the appearance of special guest Tom Arnold, but got voted down.  Fine.

Heard a great song, Wings Upon Your Horns, sung by Tami Lynn on WPKN this morning (the PURE show).  Check the credits on the back of the LP.  Nice.  Oops, just noticed that i had typed Wings Upon Your Horn, which i guess would be a whole different thing.
Loretta Lynn wrote the song and there r lots of versions of her performing it but i was hoping for a sizzling youtube featuring Tami.

Hi. Just spent way2long looking (22 pages of youtubes) for a cool cover of Foggy Notion 4u that maybe u havent heard yet, but no. The ukelele version seemed promising until i played it, and Psychic TV's version had a kick-ass rhythm guitar but i didnt think u'd wanna sit thru the whole take so ixnay on that one too.
Anyway, this is the fog that's been greeting us in the mornings lately.  Nice.
