no movie, just the theater

On a tour of Alameda the other day we stepped inside the Alameda movie theater for a quick lookaround. Wow.
The town of Alameda is totally flat, and right at sea level,  so different than San Francisco and the greater Bay Area in general.  Not sure where one would go in case of flooding there.

gimme some

Gave a homeless man two tangerines today, he was wearing an orange t-shirt. While handing him the tangerines i thought of Prokofiev's The Love for Three Oranges.
He thanked me then put his fist up for me to bump and said "Gimme some."

Last in a series of dental appts scheduled for tomorrow, here's hoping i'll be saying goodbye to the guacamole applesauce mashed potato tapioca butterscotch pudding diet.
After the appt Ima eat up a storm and be happy about it.
That's fish tacos in the picture, with mango/radish salsa and black beans, carrot juice/beet-apple juice. I got food on the brain! Giddy with excitement and anticipation about ordering these tacos soon. Just a bike ride away!
