Not many NON TOUR DIARY readers know that ACC's father was a true full Gypsy. Kind of looked like Adolfe Menjou, wore clear nail polish and shaved his underarms.

it's been obsoleted

The clerk at the Post Office was ringing up my purchases but when she got to the Danny Thomas stamp she said "Oh! It's been obsoleted."   I liked it,  like a mash-up of 'obsolete' and 'deleted'.
Still no tour or shows or anything...2busy seeing spots.

wade in the water

R waded thru the muddy water today at low tide to retrieve my phone.   The water was only a few inches deep but the mud is like quicksand.  He sunk down right away and the water and mud overflowed the tops of his boots.
What a guy, eh?

Had a dream i was at a Dean Wareham show. He was having trouble remembering lyrics, and somehow the neck of his gtr kept banging into things which would make it go out of tune. He had just begun BROWN WHEAT by Jimmy Friedman/El Destroyo when he got a funny look on his face. I realized that he had forgotten everything about the song, chords and lyrics both. I was sitting in the balcony with some other gals and we started singing the song for him, while another fan down below near the stage shouted out the chords to Dean. Dean seemed all fine with this, it looked like he was actually enjoying it. Yeah ok Dean, WHATEVER.
Here's ACC's version of BROWN WHEAT.  It's a beautiful song.  Maybe Dean and Britta should record it.
