Hello ppls.Here we r at FISH again. Sitting by the lil fireplace is so nice. So nice that we wanted2 do it again 2day;we'll see what happens. U r looking at my bowl of cabbage and white beans. Now, this dish mite sound ho-hum but it was anything but. Dang it was fantastic. Then of course we had 2 order our affogattos. As soon as i finish one, i want a second one immediately. But i think 3 scoops of ice cream is enuf in one sitting.

Hi. There couldnt be a higher compliment for a songwriter than when a fan is brought to tears while listening;that's when u know your stuff is working. A and R got a call yesterday from this listener in Portugal who cried while listening to STILL FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS.

It is kind of strange to b snow-free at christmas-time. During the above-mentioned teary call, A and R were reminded of a christmas they spent in santa monica, riding bikes along the beach promenade in the warm sunshine, the palm trees over our heads. It was beautiful, sure, but it just felt wrong. So anyway, if u r listening and crying, give us a call!! Send us an email!!

Jeez y'know how u see these old ladies walking down the street in the daylight and their rouge is applied like two bright red clown-circles, one on each side of the face and the lipstick is going all over the place etc. Well 2day i bought what i thought was black eyebrow pencil at walgreen's, went back home, and put some on. I thought it looked a little funny, but since it's impossible2apply eye makeup while wearing glasses, i couldnt really see what i was doing. Later on i puts on me glasses and whoa! I looked like one of the afore-mentioned ladies!

Hello again. Had a dream that Stan Goman hired me back at tower records in sam fram, but he didnt tell me what my job was. Someone played a slow song and stan and i danced in the back and some of the old regulars were there saying "awww", and "ohhhh".
Then we all went out into the parking lot to watch a series of small kangaroo fights, a promotion for something or other(Jump by Van Halen? -ed.) I miss stanley; he is one of my favorite ppl ever. Click here 2 see what he's doing lately.

sand dollar dude

Hello everybody. Saw my favorite Ocean Beach artist today, the Sand Dollar Dude, working outside the Cliff House. He and his partner Sarah make beautiful magnets, necklaces and chrishmish tree ornaments from sand dollars. No living dollars r harmed;only the skeletal remains r used. Each one is cleaned, then colored with wine, coffee, tea, or fruit juice, then baked to the hardness of a ceramic. No two sand dollars r the same to begin with, and after the coloring and baking they become even more unique. I love sand dollar dude! His work is also available upstairs at the Beach Chalet on the Great Hwy in Sam Fram, and at Sirens in Pedro Point, a great store right on the beach in Pacifica.
