Drove to the green grocer, ended up over in dave mahoney's old neighborhood where all the streets have names like Persia, Edinburgh, Madrid. I think that area is called the Excelsior. Remembered when dave moved in, there was a cute little hand-made sign hanging over the front door that said something like "All Are Welcome", or "Heaven's Gate" or something like that, and dave said he was putting up a sign that said "Death's Door." At the time, we thought it was funny.

Cindy, it is WINDY in Sam Fram2day! Super-windy. Took a walk, felt blessed.

Hey yall. Here is BFFRich next to a "pick up your dog's shit" poster one of our neighbors made. Little did this neighbor know that BFFRich is Robert Crumb's attorney! Itsa small world alright. This neighbor told me that he was glad we moved into the neighborhood because the "freak quotient" had gone down since Paul Kantner moved out;he lived on our street a few doors down. A&R went into Paul's house when it was 4sale and saw all of his stuff... everything was big...huge Marshall amps, a super-size mantle for his fireplace that he had imported from somewhere, cant remember where but it was GIGANTIC, and a Rick James-like area, with mirrored walls and a big hot-tub. It was pretty cheesy actually. Kinda tacky. When i told the neighbor i had seen the hot-tub area, he said "Well, yeah, Paul was never known for his good taste." U got THAT right, neighbor!

This here is a really extra-cool guy. He heads up the BLACK SWANS, a beautiful Sam Framcisco band. These days i'm not ezzackly sure what he is doing but I'd LIKE to know. In high school, he was a BMX champion, with trophies and everything. Ladies, he is super-smart and very funny. If u wanna spy on him, go into The Boulange on Cole Street in SF,(corner of Parnassus)...tell him Angel sent u.

trippin' in west marin

Been hanging around in West Marin for the past 2days...Pt. Reyes Station and Inverness mostly. Peoples, it's Paradise there. In every way. Especially politically and environmentally and agriculturally. Prince Charles visited there and pronounced it genius.

So what does this picture of a dick with a gun have to do with West Marin? Well, on the way back to Sam Fram, driving on Sir Francis Drake Blvd thru Fairfax, we saw a marquee with the message WE GOT THE SCOOTER NOW WHAT ABOUT THE SHOOTER? Ezzackly.

Thought about Lisa Guerin as we went thru Fairfax, Lagunitas et al...tried 2 imagine her as a kid riding her bike, her red hair flying behind her in the shadows of the tall tall redwoods.

And when i say big, i mean BIG: I have switched from pump soap to bar soap. Oh! Did u think i meant something else? Like i had a tour coming up? Sorry, no. But back to me and my soaps...one is dark brown, made from brazilnut oil. MMMM is it good. Also coconut pineapple, lemon verbena, and almond oil. Whaddya mean, enough about my soaps?

And speaking of soap, did u ever have your mouth washed out with soap? Maybe if it had been brazilnut oil soap, u wouldnt have minded so much? Maybe.

Anyway, like i said, no tour or shows or anything...2busy picking out a soapdish.

Hello Everybody. Have u seen the Tenacious D film yet? It's brilliant, and right on. In one scene, a fart is kinda accidentally recorded, and Jack says "Let's play that back."
