Well, i was looking for a picture of a t-shirt i saw at urban outfitters that said "santa claus hates you" but i couldnt find one. Found one called "the easter bunny hates you" but i guess i'll save that 4 later.

dean baby dream

Whoa! Had a dream last night that dean wareham came to pick me up to hang out a little, drive around town and stuff. We were in the car on Broadway in Sam Fram, and came upon a gigantic construction site, kinda like a busby berkeley meets dw griffith scene. So we gets out and we's watching all this big equipment (oooh) and i look down at myself and see that i am wearing only underpants. What? I ask him "is this what i left the house in?" and he nods yes. Then i ask him "why didnt u tell me?" He just gave me a vague, sly dean wareham kind of smile and went back to looking at the little screen on his phone. (Then A woke up.)

Ol' ACC has been living in Sam Fram since the late 70s but never been to the japanese tea garden in golden gate park until last week. It was fun! And beautiful. Hello sports fans. Hello light-deprived ppl (sunset was at 5:08 pm "tonight"). Have u noticed how it's acceptable now to make up words as u go along? No one seems to question it when it happens, ppl seem 2 be able 2 go with it. At my food co-op this afternoon, a stack of paper bags fell over and one of the gals working there said (use heavy cali accent) "whoa! a bagalanche!"

If i were as diligent a listener and recordist as dean wareham is, i'd have a special little notebook just for collecting all these new words. Check out dean and britta's tour dates...so glam.

Dinner: roasted gypsy peppers, seeds and all; baked acorn squash on the half shell with a scoop of brown rice sprinkled with black pepper; small baked pie/quiche; cornbread with kernels of corn. The last 2 items were from Greens to Go.
