crazy color

Hello everybody. Took a sunny bike-ride 2day and saw this house on Sloat Avenue by the zoo. And speaking of "crazy" and "color", have u seen the film MY KID COULD PAINT THAT? A&R watched it last night. Special note to Paul Dodd: Maybe u could discuss it at your excellent blog.
No tour or shows or anything...2busy staring at a loaf of olive bread from Panorama Bakery.
And how YOU doin'?

Jeez, it really gladdens my heart to see that San Francisco hasn't completely turned into just another city. I spend several hours a day walking around, usually south of Market. I've started to turn these walks into urban prospecting trips. I go looking for examples of buildings that have dodged the developers and retain some of the character of The City. Found an interesting book on this subject, "City For Sale" a history of the development of the Yerba Buena project from the late '40's up to the turn of the current century. Every building in that neighborhood, old or new, is there as the result of somebody's power struggle.

I love the beautiful green houses.

My Kid Could Paint That is at the top of our Q. Thanks for the recommendation. Everything is cool on your blog.
