Yesterday ACC had the pleasure of attending an extra-special MX80 recording session. Extra-special because the drummer on the session was heart-throb Nico Sophiea.  Take a number, ladies.

Hello.
This worker is pointing out the path to the magnolia gardens in Golden Gate Park's arboretum. He looked like a young David Hockney.
The Hockney exhibit had its last day recently and is in the weeks-long process of being packed for shipment to its next destination.
Since seeing the Hockney show together awhile back, CIWT and ACC have been curious about
the handling, packing, shipping, unpacking and hanging of the Hockney show.  So many pieces. All that tech gear.  So at the museum today it was pretty exciting to spy all of these boxes and packing supplies in a roped-off area at the entrance/exit to the Hockney rooms.  ACC managed to get this shot b4 being politely chased off. Hopefully CIWT will discuss.  Maybe she'll also report on how we were terrorized by a squirrel.

Being in the Mendocino forest for the past few days seeped into my dreams last night. In "real" life ACC has a dental issue that needs to be addressed, and in last night's dream the mirror revealed that this problem tooth was covered with unattractive brown spongy bits, segments like, that could be peeled off. Ugh.
And speaking of mirrors, what's that Philip Roth quote?  One of his characters has the thought that "the end of his life was a thing as near to him as the mirror in which he was shaving."  Ugh again.

Back from the Mendocino woods. This shot looks like it was taken at night but that's a beam of sunlight hitting the road marker.
On a food-run to The Good Life Bakery in town (across the street from the bank that's in a church) R picked up a copy of the local NEW SETTLER INTERVIEW magazine for me.   If i was any kind of man at all, i would be up in a tree somewhere co-protesting.
