Hi. Just spent way2long looking (22 pages of youtubes) for a cool cover of Foggy Notion 4u that maybe u havent heard yet, but no. The ukelele version seemed promising until i played it, and Psychic TV's version had a kick-ass rhythm guitar but i didnt think u'd wanna sit thru the whole take so ixnay on that one too.
Anyway, this is the fog that's been greeting us in the mornings lately.  Nice.

Drove BFF Rich to Sunnyvale last night for another of his brilliant talks at the Patent Library. Audience members r asked to fill out an evaluation form at the end of the speech and i noticed that on the back of one of the forms someone had doodled "He funny".
And speaking of driving, just came across this picture which reminded me of taking long drives in Michigan in the 70s. Back then u could get these cute lil speed pills called White Crosses and i had eaten a bunch and smoked some hash, and all of a sudden, right in the middle of the highway, up sprung a huge structure, like a giant erector set. (Heh heh, u said "erector") Thank G-d that shits was just an hallucination, and i drove right thru it with nary a scratch.

A and R spent the morning listening to the PURE show on WPKN hosted by Howard Thompson, where this trio of tunes was played: Andrew Eldritch's "Temple of Love" followed by Angel Corpus Christi's "I'm 18" and then on to "Under My Wheels" by Alice Cooper.  I was pretty pleased that the drums on my song didnt sound too shabby, considering that they came right after the ferociousness of Doktor Avalanche.
And speaking of A's, it was just great to hear that the mighty Alan Vega is back in the recording studio.  Alan suffered a serious ailment awhile back so it's good to know he is up and running again.  Whew.

I'd seen it mentioned here and there but hadnt heard it til now. It sounds pretty good i think.
During the recording session for this song Jason didnt like that my accordion had to take a breath in between the in-and-out of the bellows;he wanted the sound to keep going, uninterrupted. He didnt exactly understand how the accordion works (similar to a person taking a breath while singing) and whenever the sound would stop he'd make an impatient annoyed face. I showed him how the bellows worked and why it was impossible to get the sound that was in his head, but i could totally appreciate where he was coming from.  In the studio u just want what u want and u dont want 2 hear that it cant happen.
What a cute picture. I love that the duct-tape label on the tour case is an entire sentence rather than just "Farfisa".
