Had me hair bleached yesterday. It was either that or a facelift.
Spent this morning listening to the PURE show on WPKN. The theme was Laugh and Cry and the songs flew by so quickly the show was over b4 i knew it. There was this, and a whole lot more, all great, and i'd never heard a single one b4 except Cry Me A River by Julie London.  And speaking of singles, does this dj play actual hard copies, or downloads or what? U need to check out this very personal and eclectic show. Do it here. A real, live dj with real, live stories and comments about the musicians and songs.

Heater's on top of it

Finished watching ATTACK THE BLOCK last night, recommended by ACC's gorgeous wif a capital G friend Heater. (That's her, up above).
The kids in the movie r dressed so cute in cool hoodies and oversized clothes and they talk like Ali G. After every sentence, instead of saying "yo", they say "get me."
The two youngest kids,  Probs and Mayhem,  r just as great in the extras as they r in the film itself, if not more so.
Highly recommended, but then, what's not2like? A weedroom that's as secure as Ft. Knox, hairy arty monsters, UFOs, pyro, a lil somefing4everyone.

Rode bikes around Stinson Beach a little bit today, up and down the sandy lanes that go from Highway One to the beach. Verra nice. One of us was a teensie bit overmedicated.
See u all tomorrow.  Time to start watching Attack the Block.

It's possible that i've reached the end of the internet as far as grabbing images is concerned.  Every time i've found a cool photo just now, i see that i've already used it.  Crocheted accordions, sexy pizza, funny tour bus, goat gifs, i've used 'em all up.
And then some things r funnier in person, like this door with two exit signs at Rossetti's which seems hilarious as u r sitting there waiting for your pizza to be served, but here, not so much.

It never gets old, hearing yourself on the radio. Little did i know when i was a kid with my radio glued to my ear that one day it would be me coming out of the speakers. So Friday,  listening to the PURE show on WPKN was a thrill-and-a-half when what came across the airwaves but ACC's cover of Encore (original by X-tal). Exciting!
This song goes out to my favorite dj, with love and gratitude.

Paul likes handmade signage and i think he would have shot this same sign if he'd seen it. The "W" in Driveway is not a "W", but an upside-down "M". I think he even had a post about flipping letters around, and i'd look it up but i'm a little2busy watching new Louis C.K. When u google him, his shits is coming up 4th from the top, under 3 Louis Vuittons. Not too shabby.

A and R had a staycayshun at Stinson Beach 2day. The drive is 35 minutes with scenery like this. Then u come out of the redwoods and the Pacific Ocean is below, it's all there, as far as one can see.
A and R caught some waves,  without wetsuits!
Decided against root beer floats from here.  We'll DIY the floats back at the HB.
On the way back we passed Muir Beach Overlook.
I'd love to take you there.

C.L. James dropped by the NON TOUR DIARY office yesterday morning to hand-deliver her newly released cd.  We had vegan chocolate cupcakes and coffee to celebrate.
