Have u noticed how it's acceptable now to make up words as u go along? No one seems to question it when it happens, ppl seem 2 be able 2 go with it. At my food co-op this afternoon, a stack of paper bags fell over and one of the gals working there said (use heavy cali accent) "whoa! a bagalanche!"If i were as diligent a listener and recordist as dean wareham is, i'd have a special little notebook just for collecting all these new words.
