It's the sound of Sonic Boom landing in SF, and taking time off at the beach with A&R. Sonic was accompanied by the lovely Sam, and she and Sonic wore matching mocassins. I guess it's kinda twee for couples to wear matching stuff, but i always thought it was cute. BFF Rich wore his "leaf" Vans(not pictured), and those r my prison-issue sneaks. So if u r in San Fran today, check out SPECTRUM at the Polk Street Festival. The stage is on Polk on the same corner as the Hemlock.

Or is it camera phone? Anyway, do u remember that jewelry that was made with butterfly wings? I'm glad that isnt done anymore, but i do wish i still had my butterfly-wing locket i had in grade-school;a sunset and palm tree were painted on top of the wings. Hey wait a minute...evidently this jewelry is still being made, but all the sites state that the wings come from "naturally expired butterflies." Gee i hope that's true.

Hello. How r u? Got a friend request today from myself at myspace. How did THAT happen? Did i request 2b my own friend, and dont remember doing so? Whoa! That's just plain crazy.

Also got a request to send in comments/remarks 2 b included in someone's memoir, but ima havin' trouble remembering anything. This person said "for example, you could write about the time in LA that such and such happened", and shit, i couldnt remember that happening. What should i do? Anybody got any ideas? I guess i could write something really nuts, and then say to this person "WHAT? U dont remember that?" Like, I could say we played strip-poker together, or something like that.

This is a poo pile in our back yard. No, we dont live in the woods, so we know it's not wild bear-poo. We live in a city, with sidewalks, etc. AND, this is not the only poo pile in the yard. To discourage all this mysterious poo-ing, i stacked up prickly rose-bush branches at the favored sites, which only led to development of new poo-sites. The yard is surrounded by a solid wooden fence over 5' tall, so we cant blame the homeless, either. This picture was not taken when the poo was still fresh, so as they say on cereal boxes, "contents may have settled", if ya know what i'm sayin'. At night i scan the yard with a flashlight, looking for poo-clues, but havent seen one animal. wtf??

Musee Mecanique

Hello ppl. How's your sunday goin'? Hope it's going better than my saturday;I was nearly attacked by 2big-ass snarling, snapping dogs. Going to Walgreen's now2buy pepper spray. But anyway, back to the musee mechanique. It used 2 b located at Ocean Beach, underneath the Cliff House. I really enjoyed taking visitors there, the audio was mind-blowing. U had the sound of all the games, the "laughter" of Laffin' Sal, kids screaming, all mixed in with the sound of the mighty waves crashing below. Then the bastards moved it to Fisherman's Wharf. Well, as Lindsay himself would say "whaadya gaun do?" (Did i get that right, Chief? I dont think i captured your brilliance with the language.) I took Steve Albini, Bob "Rusty" Weston, and Todd Trainer there once, and i'm pretty sure they've reserved a special place in their hearts and ears for the ol' place. Musicians particularly loved it for the crazy sound quilt. When Laffin Sal got a quarter dropped into her (ooooh), her sound went out over the ocean and it sounded like god was laughing.
